We all know where I stand on the beach......

So, it was only 52 degrees this AM, rainy and I was feeling bad for those who came to our area to camp and hike the trails for the holiday season.

Finding this treasury made by Erika Price, tempting us to go to the beach, was just the bright spot in the day I needed!

Check it out! Click the link in the title.

Check out what else Ericka has in store for you! Oh wow lucious!

The pin that traveled to France and was transformed into ELEGANT ISSI

A great shop in France purchased some cuff link blanks from my destash store and on a whim, I sent along a pretty little pin that I thought would love to end up with a glamorous new life. Boy, Did it EVER!! Here's the picture of Issi, and the description. The title of this posting will take you to Krishenka's store.

Meet Issi who in a former life was, well who knows but is now a lapel stick pin which has beautiful patterned glass vintage silver and black button resting in the centre with a swirl of silver either side of her, and she loves her new home. Looks great whether used on your lapel, hat or scarf.

Measures 7cm (2.5") from top to bottom.

Each Krishenka treasure arrives beautifully gift-wrapped at no extra cost so why not think about sending a gift directly to a friend?

Looking for something unique, you just found it.

Different Kind of Treasury of Etsy likes (Click on pic for clarity)

Just trying something a little different. It's so hard and complicated to get a Treasury on Etsy, I thought I'd make a page dedicated to items I've found looking around Etsy.

A wonderful Treasury!

BTW, Here's a nice little top I'm looking into for DGD, made by bagsandmorebypam. See, she does do more than bags!

The softest yarn....the sweetest colors....the cutest look. This multi-color halter top with its soft lavenders, pinks, greens, and white will fit a chest measurement up to 21" and can be adjusted with its drawstring tie to fit smaller chest sizes. The length below the halter triangles is 5 inches. It is hand-crocheted using Baby Bee pitter patter eyelash yarn. Machine wash gentle. Tumble dry low. Do not overdry. This is approximately size 2, but the key is your child's chest measurement and the length desired. Larger sizes available upon request. Cost will vary according to size, time involved, and yarn requirements. Just convo for information regarding availability of colors and sizes.

Check out more details from BagsAndMoreByPam here:

This little toddler halter top is adorable!

I'm telling you, this treasury is absolutely wonderful! Thanks, BagsAndMoreByPam, you're awesome!

Good healing and Spring represented by PUSSYWILLOWs

So appropriate for today, for spring & from me: Symbol of healing and Spring Pussy Willow Necklace http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=23586373 Custom finishing details available, see listing

This is probably one of the most exciting pieces I've done lately. It's taken me at least 6 months to finish this one off to my liking, and now I'm in love! My only conflict is whether to have the bail on the diagonal, or centered straight on top. So I'm going to leave that to the purchaser. I've uploaded one of my photos from my beach from a recent sunset just to show why I call the color sunrise /sunset. Please take a look and leave some love, unless you'd just rather buy it!!

As if this wasn't enough, I've been included in 2 more Treasuries today! Here is HOP TO IT, by sewing grannie from the WWWG etsy group:

.

I'm so BLUE, by LadynCats featured my blue glass aggies. sweet!

Happy Spring & Happy Easter

Now this is awesome to wake up to! Nice spring pictures, sunshine and all of 21 degrees. It's slowly warming, but there is still lots of frost in the 'hood!

One of my fav Etsy shops, http://www.brushwithimagination.etsy.com/ does beautiful collages. You should see the dog ones that she features, it'll put a smile on your face!

Anyways, this (picture above) is what she did for a treasury, and I have to admit, it's a favorite of mine too!

Heavy Metal

I don't often post purely personal info here, but this one has to be written. The pressure I've been under lately has finaly been lifeted and I feel like shouting fromthe rooftops. When I woke up this AM, it was the first time in a month where I didn't feel like there was a 2 ton weight ready to drop on me. So, what follows is what I wrote out last night in my new euphoria.

I survived! What a rush, it was an amazing surgery, and what they were able to do is get the blood back to my 2001 bypass site. It was rather freaky, yet miraculous if I may be so dramatic! Trying to live long enough to get the problem fixed had become the problem.Since I've had 2 disastrous catherizations in the past, they used a different procedure, which freed me up to leave the hospital the same day. I am home, so hard to believe but I do feel so much better. I just can't do anything for a couple of days but by the end of next week, watch out! I'll have one whole week to get into trouble before I go back in for some more repair work. They are going to do another stent soon.

Now to find out what to do to prevent this condition from happening some more!!

Metallic Mama.

PS: I've got before and after pictures that include my pacemaker (in both pics, of course) and it looks like a cool MP3 player! How fitting!!!)

PSS: Another reason for all of the drama, my older brother died while waiting for surgergy for the same kinda stuff, at age 58.

PSSS: A month later, 2 more stents. 1 in aorta and 1 in the right illiac. I feel great!!

Now, I'm thinking I'll have to go back and take some of these with various pendents, to show how they would look with the approriate color. Or would that be redundent? Any advice?

My ring in another Treasury? WOO~HOO!

What wonderful images to wake up to! A blessed relief for my winter weary eyes. I just heard that Battle Creek MI woke up to 3 inches of the wet heavy mushy stuff, and am really glad that we didn't! Considering I'm 250 miles north, that's amazing that we didn't!

Enough winter already, I need spring!!!! Feast your eyes on this Etsy Treasury West featured by namsglam, a special friend of mine. Check out her awesome shop http://www.etsy.com/treasury_list_west.php?room_id=49408

April brings sunshine

I'm happy this morning, after being wide awake from 2AM to about 4AM. It was during that time when I couldn't sleep that I found this blogsite http://r-anne-dom.blogspot.com/ that features my Etsy store. In particular, it has my pretty little mauve dichroic ring.

The featuring blog is from a friend of mine in Canada. I've had many happy dealings with Anne, from our mutual WWWG group on Etsy. I've bought from her a few times, and I was even lucky enough to help her celebrate her Etsy shop by winning a givaway! I can hardly wait, I love her yellow spring time cheer!
